Peak District Classic Bashing - my wish list
  • Most of my climbing has been done in the quarries in The Peak. Places like Lawrencefield, Millstone and Yarncliffe have been my venues of choice up until now. I have had some sessions at Stanage, Burbage, Frogatt and Curbar to name a few others, but I still feel like a grit newbie.

Here's my list of grit climbs that I would like to tick off sometime soon:

    Easier stuff:
    Hollybush Crack - Vdiff
    Wall End Slab - Vdiff
    Flying Buttress - Vdiff

    Moving on...:
    Paradise Wall - HS 4b
    Eliminator - HVS 5b
    Inverted V - VS 4b
Mississippi Buttress Direct - VS 4c
High Neb Buttress - VS 4c
    Leviticus - HVS 5b
    Kelly's Eliminate: HS 4b
    Terrazza Crack - HVS 5a
    Surgeons Saunter: HVS 5b
    Goliath's Groove HVS 5a

I need to get a Stanage session in and tick some of these off!

Anyone else got any wish lists?

    leaning buttress direct (hvs)
chimps corner (vs) not a classic but just looks wacky and a giggle
    BAWS crawl (same reason)
Tower face (hvs) (wimped off the lead last time because the creaky flake put the willies up me)
    left unconquerable (E1)

Howdy, Stranger!
